Freshly Pressed.

Never Boring.

A little weird. A lot of personality.

The Vinyl Tee Co. is an independent apparel shop creating music-inspired, pop-culture, funny, and vintage-inspired graphic T-shirts, with shirts pressed in-house.

So, Who’s Behind the Shirts?

I’m Erin, the redhead, freckle-faced, fun-loving weirdo behind The Vinyl Tee Co.

I’ve always loved drawing, painting, writing, and photography. More than 15 years ago, I started teaching myself graphic design, and over time, those interests eventually found their way into T-shirt and poster design. What started as another creative outlet slowly became something I couldn’t stop making.

Music has always been a huge part of that. I was listening to music from the 50s and 60s before I could walk. There’s something about old records, album art, and the whole world surrounding music from that era that has always felt strangely familiar to me.

A big kid at heart, I have always loved The Muppets, Sesame Street, and almost every cartoon I've ever seen. I never really grew out of them. I still love the humor, the characters, the colors. It just makes me ridiculously happy.

That’s really what The Vinyl Tee Co. became: a place where all of those things can collide. I can sit down with an idea, start sketching, designing, pressing, and tinkering, and suddenly hours have disappeared. It’s one of the few things I can do where I completely lose track of time. Making things doesn’t feel like work to me. It’s where I get to be curious, creative, and completely myself.

That became The Vinyl Tee Co.—a small, independently made shop for people who love all the ridiculousness, like me.

WHAT THE VINYL TEE CO. ACTUALLY MAKES

We DO NOT make actual vinyl records, just amazing shirts packaged like them.

The Albums That Never Existed...

But Should Have.

Where old-school music, a love of cartoons, and a lot of imagination get pressed into some pretty cool t-shirts.

It starts with a ridiculous idea.

Most of these designs start the same way: an idea that probably should have stayed in my head.

Then comes the sketching, the naming, the artwork, the fake band history, the album jacket, and eventually the shirt.

That's my favorite part of this whole thing. I get to take something completely silly and keep working on it until it feels like it could actually exist.

The Jammin' Salmon started with a simple question: what if some of the greatest bands and musicians had been... well, cartoons?

It grew into a whole collection of completely fictional bands, ridiculous characters, parody album covers, and T-shirts inspired by the music I’ve loved for years.

I don't just make the shirts. I make the imaginary records that go with them, too. Each album jacket is designed to look like something you might have pulled out of a record store decades ago—complete with questionable tour dates, fictional venues, strange band names, and artwork that takes on a life of it's own.

Made Here. Pressed by Me.

These aren't shirts that get pulled off a warehouse shelf and dropped in a box. I choose the shirts, press the designs, check them over, and pack them myself—because I like knowing that something made its way from my weird little idea to your doorstep.

I hope you enjoy wearing my shirts just as much as I enjoy making them.
